PROFILE
Connor E. Jenkins builds operating companies and keeps them. He founded Movement 4 Power, a baseball and softball player development company in St. Louis that started with three athletes and now trains more than 90, with six instructors. He founded EVRT, which builds software and infrastructure for companies that are scaling. Both sit inside CEJ Holdings, the private holding company he formed to own them.
He works inside the companies he owns. He builds the systems before he adds people, keeps the infrastructure in house and judges each business by the cash it produces. When he helps another founder scale, he takes a stake and stays in the room after the deal.
